From the left you see Torquay's bustling International marina and palm tree-lined promenade. Taking centre stage you see Torquay's HiFlyer, a huge helium balloon that takes visitors 400ft into the air for a stunning bird's eye view of the coastline. To the right, sweeping views of the Bay and over to Brixham, one of Britain's busiest fishing port, before resting on neighbouring Torre Abbey's 9-hole Pitch and Putt.
There are 2400 en suite bed spaces within one mile of the RICC. Delegates can choose from top 3, 4 and 5 star hotels to smaller family run hotels, guesthouses and even self catering establishments.
Torquay is one of the three towns, along with Paignton and Brixham, that make up the English Riviera and combined offer a huge number of venues as well as local attractions that can offer places to visit, have a party, drinks reception or banquet. You might choose from Paignton Zoo & Botanical Gardens, the Kents Cavern Pre-historic Caves, or the Dartmouth & Paignton Steam Railway or any number of other unusual venues for parties or receptions.
